Instructions for Urine Sample Collection:

✋🏼 Hand Washing: Prior to sample collection, wash your hands thoroughly to ensure cleanliness.

🤲🏼 Open the Container: Carefully open the urine container without touching the inside to maintain sterility.

💦 Pre-Urination Preparation: Before beginning to urinate, cleanse the genital area with water to minimise potential contaminants.

🚽 Initiate Urination: Start urinating into the toilet to discard the initial flow which might carry contaminants.

🧪 Collect Mid-Stream Urine: After the initial flow, collect 10-20 ml of urine mid-stream into the container to ensure the sample is as clean as possible.

✅ Finish Urination: Continue urinating into the toilet after the sample is collected.

🔐 Close the Container: Firmly replace the lid on the container to prevent spills or contamination.

✋🏼 Second Hand Washing: Wash your hands again after securing the urine sample.

🌡Storage and Delivery: Ensure the sample is taken to the collection point on the same day. If there's a delay, keep the sample refrigerated at +2 to +8°C until delivery.
