1. Log In to Your Account:
Access the GetLabTest platform.
Enter your username and password.
Click 'Log In'.
2. Navigate to Referral Section:
On the dashboard, locate and select the "Make a referral" tab.
3. Add Tests and Packages:
Browse through the list of available tests and packages.
Click the "Add" button next to each test or package you wish to include. The button will change color to indicate selection.
4. Search for Specific Tests:
If you're looking for a specific test, use the search engine by typing the test name.
Utilize the tabs to switch between tests and packages for easier navigation.
5. Select Tests by Category:
Choose tests or packages based on specific categories that align with your patient's needs.
6. Review Test Descriptions:
For more details about a test or package, click the question mark (?) next to it.
7. Change the Collection Point (If Necessary):
To change the default Collection Point, click the pencil icon next to its name.
Search and select a new Collection Point from the list.
8. Finalize the Referral:
After adding tests and setting the Collection Point, click the "Make a referral" button to proceed.
9. Enter or Confirm Patient Details:
Input the patient's details if creating a referral for a new patient.
For existing patients, select the patient from your list and confirm by clicking “make a referral”.
10. Review and Issue the Referral:
Ensure all information is correct.
Click a final confirmation button to issue the referral.
11. Patient Notification:
The patient will receive an automatic notification to complete payment and will be given instructions for sample submission.
12. Follow Up on Test Results:
Once tests are completed, results will be available for your review.
As the referring physician, you have the priority to describe and comment on these results.
After describing the results of the tests in the time available to describe them, the doctor will be awarded a commission.
