BENEFITS OF TESTING

  • Comprehensive Health Overview: Understanding your health holistically is the cornerstone of well-being and longevity. To facilitate this understanding, our package includes tests like Urinalysis + Sediment Test and Complete Blood Count (CBC) Test. By providing insights into the state of your blood and urine, these tests form a panoramic view of your health, facilitating early identification and intervention of potential health risks.
  • Detection of Inflammation and Blood Diseases: While inflammation is a vital part of the body's healing response, chronic inflammation can lead to several health complications. Our package features Erythrocyte Sedimentation Rate (ESR) and C-reactive Protein (CRP) Tests that help detect inflammation in your body. Alongside, the CBC test assists in identifying potential blood disorders, fostering preventive care.
  • Evaluation of Metabolic and Cardiovascular Health: As you navigate through your 50s and 60s, maintaining heart health is paramount. Our package offers the Glucose Test, a range of lipid tests, including Cholesterol, LDL, HDL, Triglycerides Tests, and the Uric Acid Test. Collectively, these tests provide a thorough appraisal of your cardiovascular and metabolic health, aiding in the early detection and prevention of heart diseases and diabetes.
  • Monitoring Liver Function and Pancreas Health: The overall well-being of your body significantly relies on the healthy functioning of your liver and pancreas. For this reason, our package integrates Aspartate Aminotransferase (AST), Alanine Aminotransferase (ALT), Gamma-glutamyl Transferase (GGT), and Lipase Tests. Regular tracking of these levels allows early detection of liver or pancreas diseases, enabling timely and appropriate medical responses.
  • Evaluation of Thyroid Health: The thyroid gland plays an integral role in numerous metabolic processes in the body. To assess this crucial gland's performance, our package includes the Thyroid-stimulating Hormone (TSH) and Free Thyroxine (fT4) Tests. These tests facilitate the early identification of any potential thyroid abnormalities, encouraging prompt medical attention.
  • Testosterone Level Check: Testosterone is a vital male hormone influencing mood, energy levels, sexual drive, and overall health. Our package incorporates the Testosterone Test to monitor these levels regularly, especially crucial for men in their 50s and 60s. This can help address potential health issues like reduced sexual performance or symptoms of andropause.
  • Assessment of Bone Health and Osteoporosis Risk: With progressing age, maintaining healthy and strong bones becomes increasingly important. Our package includes tests to measure Calcium and Vitamin D levels, assessing bone mineralization and osteoporosis risk. These tests ensure the effective implementation of vitamin D supplementation to maintain bone health.
  • Appraisal of Essential Nutrients: Essential nutrients like Sodium (Na), Potassium (K), and Magnesium (Mg) are critical for the proper functioning of the nervous system, muscles, and cardiovascular system. Our package incorporates tests for these nutrients to maintain a healthy balance for your body's optimal functionality.
  • Prostate Health Check: With advancing age, concerns about prostate health tend to rise. Addressing this concern, our package includes the Prostate-specific Antigen (PSA) and Free Prostate-specific Antigen (fPSA) Tests. These tests aid in early detection of prostate dysfunction and potential prostate cancer, ensuring proactive health management.
  • Evaluation of Cardiovascular Risks: Conditions like heart failure and thromboembolic complications pose potential health risks for men in this age group. To safeguard your health against these risks, our package includes the D-dimer and NT-proBNP Tests. These tests are specifically designed to assess your cardiovascular health, which is especially beneficial for individuals recovering from viral infections like SARS-CoV-2, given that COVID-19 can lead to such complications.

Blood Test Preparation Guidelines
Time of day
icon
It is recommended to schedule your appointment for blood tests in the morning hours between 7:00-10:00.
Fasting
icon
It is recommended to fast for approximately 12 hours before blood sampling. The last meal of the previous day should ideally be consumed around 6:00 p.m. On the day before the test, avoid heavy and fatty meals as well as alcohol.
Stay hydrated
icon
Drinking water prior to testing can help with sample collection.
Other factors
icon
Tests should not be performed after a sleepless night or intense physical activity. It is recommended to avoid exercise and stress immediately before blood collection and to not smoke. A short rest is recommended.
Medications and supplements:
icon
Blood samples should be collected before the morning dose. Some drugs can interfere with test results. Consult with your doctor whether you can delay your dose because of lab tests.
Biotin supplements:
icon
High doses of biotin supplements can affect test results, causing false elevation or reduction. It's recommended to avoid taking biotin for at least 72 hours before blood collection. If you are taking biotin, inform the personnel collecting the blood so that they can provide specific instructions.
Preparing for Urinalysis Test
Buy container
icon
Buy sterile, disposable urine containers from pharmacies.

You can also buy a container from a diagnostic centre but the price will be higher. Container is not included in the price of the tests.
Time of day
icon
Ideally, collect the first urine in the morning after an 8-hour overnight rest or at least 4 hours after the last urination to prevent functional proteinuria.
Mid-stream Sample
icon
Collect the urine mid-stream, not at the beginning or end of urination, to avoid contamination. The sample volume should be 20 to 100 milliliters, depending on the container's size.
Hygiene
icon
Wash the area around the urethra with warm water, without using any cleaning or disinfecting products.
Fasting
icon
Do not eat or drink for 12 hours before collecting the urine sample. If necessary, you can drink one glass of clean, unflavoured water during this time.
Physical activity
icon
Avoid intense physical activity before providing a urine sample, as it can lead to an increase in protein and ketone levels in urine.
Menstrual period
icon
Women should avoid providing a urine sample during the menstrual period or within two days of its completion, as this can affect the test results due to the presence of red blood cells and epithelial cells in the urine.
Sexual activity
icon
Abstain from sexual activity before providing a urine sample.
Deliver sample
icon
Take the sample(s) to the sampling point on the same day. Storage: Keep the samples at refrigerated temperature (+2...+8°C) until they are taken to the sampling point.
